Seller's Notes: This is a vintage wool Turkish flatweave rug from the 1970s, originally purchased while traveling abroad. The color is overdyed black, although please note that the dye has somewhat of a dark blue tint to it. It is in fantastic condition, especially for being a vintage item, apart from minor blemishes on the bottom of the rug (on the top, there are no visible stains.) Although you can't really notice it, the white fringe at the ends came with a very subtle bluish discoloration from the black dye used at time of manufacture (see image).
