Seller's Notes:Vintage Nightstands made from wood - the top has formica or some other wood veneer type product on it which has allowed the tops to remain scratch free and shining for years. Extremely well made - everything is dovetailed. The only screws used are attaching the handles to the drawers. I purchased these in 2005 from an estate sale along with a matching dresser. Made by Bassett Furniture Industries and sold by J Kurtz & Sons Inc Furniture Store (in business from 1870 to 1978 - Brooklyn & Queens, NY) The tag from the company was inside the dresser under the top drawer - it has the inventory number on it which is also on the back of the pieces.
