Seller's Notes:This vintage desk and chair set is made of solid oak wood and features a cast iron base. The style “old schoolhouse”. The cast iron one-legged base has holes where the desk was once riveted to the floor. The piece has an overall worn, vintage charm. It is perfect for use in a home school setting or as a decorative piece. I used it in my front hall to place mail and keys and sit while putting on shoes.
