Vintage Mies Armless Leather Sling
Product details
Seller's Notes:This classic chair is an integral part of the Knoll Mies van der Rohe collection. The bent steel frame was inspired by Bauhaus master Marcel Breuer, while the form is thought to be a modern derivative of the 19th century iron rocking chairs. This piece was used in a Manhattan architectural office lobby in the 70's and 80's. I bought it from there. The leather has a wonderful patina; however, the leather laces that bind the slings need to be replaced.
