Seller's Notes:One gorgeous vintage Mid-Century Modern Thonet Plywood Chair in excellent condition. Extremely sturdy and comfortable. Some small, minor nicks on bottom edge of seat back (see detail photo). Excellent vintage condition and a gorgeous collectible piece. - Vintage item from the 1970s - Material: plywood - 19” deep x 18.5” wide x 31” high (from floor to top of seat) The Thonet Company was the first company to mass produce furniture. In the late 1800’s they introduced the bentwood cafe chair. These chairs are still produced to this day. This authentic Thonet plywood chair has amazing character. Extremely sturdy and comfortable, despite its age. Perfect for a cozy mid century kitchen, office, or living room.
