Seller's Notes:Bring on the nostalgia! This utterly breathtaking stereo console was made in the 1960’s by Bogen, and it even comes with the ORIGINAL owner’s manual! This model — the TR100X — is incredibly rare! In fact, this is one of the only TR100X stereos that comes with the complete console cabinet & hutch — if not the only one! (Which, as of this writing, it is the only known unit available online.) This beautiful & rare walnut console unit is comprised of two pieces. The bottom part of the console features sliding cabinet doors that reveal interior shelving & storage. The richly colored cabinetry on this console also display beautiful, oval hardware with a floral relief made entirely of brass. The top portion of the unit is equipped with a Bogen TR100X tube amp stereo that feeds sound through the dual sided speakers that are housed in on the bottom of the unit. And believe me when I tell you: the quality of the acoustics that emanate from these speakers is nothing short of impeccable! The way the stereo & speaker set combine to create a warm & all encompassing sound is something that truly elevates the environment surrounding it. It also features metal racks to store your favorite vinyls! My personal favorite feature of this unit, though, is without a doubt the hidden dry bar situated inside of the center cabinets. Simply slide open the cabinet doors to reveal 25 felt-lined spaces designed to hold bar & glassware. Need more room to serve guests? Just pull out the sliding white tray table underneath it to give yourself extra surface area! Truly, there are no pictures or recordings that could do this mid-century gem of justice. The impeccable craftsmanship and beauty of the entire console is second to none. It’s this high quality that has allowed the piece to maintain its immaculate condition nearly 60-years after it was manufactured.
