Using polarizing filters and an effect called bi-refractance to create the changes, the Aurora’s face changes color when the second hand rotates or when viewed at different angles. The ever changing beauty of the design warranted its inclusion in the Museum of Modern Art’s permanent collection. Clock has been serviced by ChronoArt, the undisputed experts on these clocks, and is in perfect working order. 8.25” x 5” x 8.25”
