Seller's Notes:Vintage Herman Miller George Nelson EOG Secretarial Desk Mid-Century This is an original Herman Miller Executive Office Group (EOG) secretarial desk designed by George Nelson. It has a wood return with a white laminate desktop. The return contains a guest cabinet on the outside and a cabinet (one shelf) with a door and two drawers, the bottom one of which includes the original paper stacker. The desk shows considerable wear and could benefit from a professional restoration. There are numerous scratches and some chips to the wood veneer as well as sun fading. There is one poorly repaired chip on the laminate desktop about the size of a pea. Otherwise all hardware appears original and intact and doors and drawers are in good working order. The guest cabinet is missing a lock. The modesty screen is missing as well (there are indications one was originally attached but not under my ownership).
