Seller's Notes:Vintage steamer trunk with monogram GED. Leather handle & internal drawers for storage. 2 external keys & 2 internal drawer keys. Has a great vintage patina, and has served as a wonderful bench at the end of my bed for many years. Plus excellent storage for linens. It's also really sturdy & framed in steel. A little Googling revealed that The Hartmann company called this construction "Gibraltarized", meaning "requires at least two strapping porters to move it and that's before you even load it with your clothes and jewelry".
