Vintage Green & Gold Couch
Product details
Seller's Notes:My parents built their first home in Lodi wine country in the '60s and furnished it with new furniture. This couch was one of the pieces. It was purchased from Breuner's Home Furnishing and situated in the sunk in living room. When they downsized and relocated at the turn of the century to a mobile home, the couch followed. Given that it has primarily been used as a decorative piece, it remains in excellent condition. The couch has a sort of island feel to it. It is soft cream, green, and gold giving it a neutral, almost beige appearance from a distance. The colors are much more vibrant up close. The pattern suggests abstract palm leaves. There are however delicately embroidered laurel leaves that change color depending on the lighting. The embroidery can appear pale cream, bright golden yellow, and burnt rust. Decorative quilting has been used on the back cushions.
