Seller's Notes:Wish I could offer more illumination concerning the provenance of this pair of framed landscapes other than that for decades they provided gilded grace notes in the foyer of my late uncle's home. Although identically framed with heavy, gold-painted wood, the two are clearly fraternal twins. What's visible of the signatures indicates they come from different hands; in addition, the linen matting of one print is creamier, the other more grey. What I do know with certainty is that both sepia-on-cream pastorals make for atmospheric, evocative viewing.

Wear and tear details: A few nicks on frames consistent with age (one print has small piece of inner frame reglued as shown in photo). Backing paper on frames delicate consistent with age.
