Seller's Notes:Here is a gorgeous and rare original vintage Ekornes stressless chair from the 70s. I am the second owner. But I've had it for less than a year. I purchased it from the original owner in Northport, LI. This chair is amazing. Wish I had the space to keep it but I am moving. It's the most perfect chair for reading, napping and relaxing. It easily reclines and there is a knob on the side to lock in desired reclined position. The chair and ottoman both sit on a round chrome base that swivel. There are marks on the ottoman and on part of the chair cushion- possibly from the original owners cat? Please refer to picture details. Looks like tiny dots that make me think it came from a cat's claws. The chair does NOT have any odors. The chair is beautifully made and will fit perfectly into a mid- century inspired apartment or home. Very minimal rust on the chrome that cannot be seen unless looking underneath chair. Would come out with steel wool. It's in solid shape with minor exterior blemishes. Keep in mind it's all original and around 40 years old. You will fall in love with this chair!!! It is so comfortable and beautifully built to last a lifetime.
