Seller's Notes:The beautiful handmade piece featured at MOMA, Whitney Museum, and the Art Institute of Chicago, was made and signed by artist Art Donovan in 1992. The base is maplewood that has been handpainted and washed over with gold. The shade is spun filament fiberglass, the finest light-conducting material used for lapshades. The gold fringe is Vintage ltalian. This is truely a work of Art.
