Seller's Notes:I bought this bookcase/desk almost 50 years ago at an antique store in the West Village. It's solid wood. It's great for showcasing books. The desk portion is 18" wide, so it could accommodate a laptop computer. There is storage space under the drop- down desk. And, the nook above the desk is a good spot for putting a speaker. It's a compact work space.
