Seller's Notes: I bought this beautiful and unique Afghani wool rug in Kuşadası, on one of my trips to Turkey in 1990. I fell in love with it and was told by the shopkeeper that it was woven during the Soviet-Afghan War - incredible details of woven guns reflect this. I am sad to part with this beloved rug but unfortunately this treasure no longer fits my decor. There is a very faint discoloration in small sections and a bit of wear and tear on one of the sides (see photos) but it is in otherwise very good condition. In the past it had been exposed to my dear cats but I have recently removed it from storage so any remnants of exposure are now limited. I hope it finds a good home!
