Seller's Notes:The chest of drawers is a lovely rich color, I believe the wood is mahogany. I say the style is Victorian (revival) because the chest is part of a set, and the rest of the set looks Victorian. The chest of drawers itself has quite simple lines. think. It's proportions are quite generous. Acquired approximately 50 years ago, but in wonderful condition. Three roomy, deep drawers and two at the top for small objects. Not sure of the brand, stamped "made in USA" in the back. The measurements are 38 W x 19H x 34.5 D The only sign of wear I can see is a slight darkening of the wood at floor level, a small scratch on one of the sides towards the bottom, and a slight discoloration at the front edge of the top. This would all probably disappear with a polishing. There are a few little small indentations, the sort that make one think of woodworm - they are not at all a sign of actual woodworm, but were part of the design effort for an antique look.
