Like many people, we realized we needed a proper home office setup after spending too many hours hunched over our kitchen table! After researching standing desks for months, we chose Vari because of their reputation for quality motors and sturdy construction. We specifically picked the 60x30 size because it gave us room for dual monitors plus plenty of workspace. The reclaimed wood-look laminate finish was perfect for our home office - professional looking but warm enough to not feel too corporate. This desk has been our daily workspace for over 3 years. I used it primarily at standing height in the mornings (great for energy and focus) and sitting height in the afternoons. The electric motor has been rock solid - smooth, quiet operation every single time. No issues whatsoever. It's been in our smoke-free, pet-free home office the entire time. We're only selling because we're moving to a smaller place and switching to a compact setup. Honestly, we're going to miss this desk - it made such a difference for our posture and productivity. We're hoping it goes to someone who will appreciate having a quality standing desk without paying full retail price.
