Seller's Notes:Total gem. Custom designed dining table / ping pong table that's been lovingly used by our family. It's designed first and foremost as a grand dining table with subtle holes for the net brackets and paddles. The tabletop is solid and a beautiful surface for dinner parties and family gatherings. The fact that it converts to an incredible ping pong table is the perfect incentive for kids to clean up fast. Imagine how wonderful this will be for the holidays. The net is a hand crocheted sunset and the entire thing will delight you, your family and your friends. The tabletop is 8' x 4' which is one foot on either side smaller than a regulation ping pong table. It'll hone your game. It comes in two pieces: the top is a single slab and the leg structure is the second piece. I believe it's cherry wood. The table was designed and built in New Orleans by a close friend and made its way to Brooklyn in 2015. There is no other like it. One side is more used than the other side. It's very simple to sand and bring back to its original glory but it also looks great worn. The table is also an incredible work surface and would serve very well in a studio.
