Seller's Notes:The set is by Manson Jensen , a replica of Louis LXVI. I have seen similar chairs on 1st Dibs, ( 6 chairs or $3950) but never the table. The hot air ballon feature is very appealing. I was able to find a vintage hot air balloon painting with exact colors for the dining room. Chair upholstery was originally blue but I had them redone to pop the salmon and orange colors. There are six side chairs and two arm chairs. I was with my mother when we saw the set in a now defunct high-end furniture store and we fell in love! When the table is extended as an oval, six people can dine albeit a bit snug. We used the arm chairs for four diners. The extension leaf is conveniently located inside the tabletop. I had a protective felt table cover made which I will donate for free. Cover is most useful when dining with hot dishes and covered with a table cloth. Otherwise the table was bare as pictured. Dimensions are approximate but close. I love this set but I no longer live in a space where it fits the decor. Sorry to part with it.
