Seller's Notes:The Saarinen Collection is a collection of tables designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll in 1957. The collection includes the Round Table and the Oval Table, also known as the Tulip Table, in several models, as dining table, side table, and coffee table. The tables have an elegant pillar base in die-cast aluminum that is combined with a round or oval table top. The top is produced in a wide variety of models, in several types of marble, acrylic stone, wood or laminate. Acrylic stone is also suitable for outdoor use. The base is lacquered with Rilsan and is available in white or black. Each table has a pillar with "the KnollStudio" logo, as well as Eero Saarinen's signature. Mix and match the tables with the Tulip Chair and Tulip Stool by Eero Saarinen from Knoll. Eero Saarinen is a Finnish architect and furniture designer who has made a name for himself with the Tulip Chair and several other acclaimed pieces for Knoll, among others. The tables are easy to furnish, pleasant to sit around and although designed in the 1950s, they are very much a modern table. ~RLDU
