This powerfully bracing design features polished glass that has been uniquely textured by extreme heat to resemble blocks of frozen ice. Each block is lit from behind to accentuate its rugged crystallized swirls, and held in an industrial matte black frame. A formidable conversation piece, to proverbially break the ice with new found friends over dinner. We love this light, but it's too heavy to be installed in our dining room in our apartment. Our landlord will not allow us to install the fixture properly. The light is still in its original packaging. We opened the main box to make sure it wasn't damaged, but other than that it's still wrapped and packaged as originally shipped. The second picture shows the light in the Timothy Oulton showroom where they applied heavy rope through the chains to give it a more rustic, nautical look.
