Seller's Notes: This very Valuable, Magically Whimsical Natural investment Rug was Hand-knotted at a Peasant home.The Hand-Spun Wool yarn was clipped, washed, Garnet and spun from his own herd. Yarn was dyed by ground tree routes. Women of the house did the weaving. This Rug suggests they saw their simple life as very happy and apparently a source of pride. Such rugs would be packed and kept to be used as dowry for the daughters and would be sold out only if they needed the funds. The Importer purchased this rug in early 1980's from the villager not knowing the actual age of this unused rug. But it was never sold to the retail trade for distribution, thereby stayed brand new. No words are necessary to explain how valuable and inspiring the Art of this rare amazing spontaneous one-of-a kind Rug is. This quality is not to be mistaken with today's disposable rugs sold on the market. In fact, it probably will be a lot more valuable after each passing day. This rug was never in a box. That is not how fine valuable rugs are packed. The Rug was rolled along it's length and wrapped with plastic and kept well among a collection of other valuable rugs at the importer's industrial warehouse for safe keeping.
