Seller's Notes:This is a stylish, practical, beautiful bed. I used it as my main bed for years as a queen and then converted to a full to use as a guest bed in our new apartment. We are converting our guest bedroom to a nursery and no longer have need of the bed, but it has many good years left. The wood is birch and the hardware is black. Everything is in great condition. There are some scratches and dents on the wood but these will mostly be covered up by the mattress itself or the hardware. The cork on the bottom of the hardware has worn away, so you might want to attach some furniture pads to the bottom if you're placing this on a solid floor. If it's on carpet or a rug, you probably don't have to do anything. If you ever want to expand the bed, Floyd's website has some very fun add-on pieces, such as under-bed storage or bedside tables. We have a few other pieces of furniture by them and they're solidly built, gorgeous, Made in America pieces.
