Seller's Notes:The design of this piece of furniture has always struck me as both ingenious and beautiful. An arm of what I was told is mahogany embraces a set of lighter wooden boxes that are set in an uneven pattern. The interior of the wooden boxes can be used as shelves, and the offset pattern also creates taller spaces for shelving. It's an clever and simply piece of engineering. The craftsmanship is high. I love this piece but we are moving abroad and it doesn't make sense to store it. Forgive the clutter in the pictures. We are in the process of moving. I bought this piece in Manhattan about 22 years ago. I don't remember the store, but it was a nice one. The piece may be unique, as in not replicated or repeated elsewhere.
