Seller's Notes: This is an excellently preserved armchair by Stow & Davis of Grand Rapids, MI. This model was named the "Tension Easer" and was meant for Executives - we can see why. It's super comfortable, luxurious, and so sleek. It was designed by George Reinoehl for Stow & Davis, and the classic design is so regarded that it's part of the permanent collection of the Whitney Museum! The finish and upholstery are in impeccable original condition. The oxblood leather has little wear, with just some light creasing. The solid walnut frame is beautiful, with light wear near the feet and two Stow & Davis labels on the underside.
