Seller's Notes:DOUBL PEDESTAL TABLE This table has latches to hold the leaves tightly together when one or more of the filler boards are in place. This holds the boards tightly in place. The latches were installed by a cabinet makes. It also has four additional leaves (12” filler boards) in new condition. (The attached photo shows the table with one of the filler boards in place.) The table was purchased new The from Valley Furniture Shop Its condition is excellent with patina related to use. Double pedestal table. Top 45 x 67, extends to 115, H 29. Accommodates 4 -12" filler boards. This mid-18th century New York double tripod table successfully blends a Queen Anne oval top and carved snake feet with unique Chippendale columns of bamboo design.
