Seller's Notes:All original design by local fine artist , artisan craftsman furniture maker.based in New York. This piece was inspired by the vertical staggered elements you see in skyscrapers around the city. Style is rustic, raw, un-varnished solid walnut wood, thick, styled to have sleek lines, proportional harmonies, and to be thick looking,but to make a more open ,airy design,with still substantial shelves .Solid 5/4 and 4/4 Walnut , dado joinery ,hidden recessed, final thickness 7/8" shelves, 1 1/8" sides,interior shelves space of 30 2/8 x 9 15/16-10"...shelf spacing 15 3/8 lower and the rest are 12" ,five shelves Pictured are three Architectural drawings Hugh Ferris which are very inspiring, I like the real fundamental shapes , to me, furnitures are like little buildings
