Seller's Notes:Inspired by the Restoration Hardware Reclaimed Oak Panel Canopy Bed ($8,600), this bed was hand-crafted in Appalachia from solid hardwood. Twin XL is the width of a Twin and the length of a Queen. You could put a Twin mattress on this frame. The bed was uncrated but never assembled so pictures are of the model. Assembly is straightforward and requires an allen wrench (included), screws (included), and an electric screwdriver (not included). The wood has never been stained or painted, so you could do either. The platform is approximately 48" by 88". It is a little larger than a Twin XL mattress so that wood is visible around the perimeter (see photos). It is low to the ground (9" off the floor) and enclosed on all sides. The canopy is 7.5 feet (90") tall. The headboard starts 6" from the top of the platform and ends 40" from the floor. I've dropped the price as low as possible (I'll make $36 dollars after Apt Deco takes their cut). I really want this bed to find a good home.
