Seller's Notes:I acquired this item when I downsized my home office to make room for baby number two. It has been everything I wanted it to be! In fact, I really wish I could keep it and move it to my new home, but it just won't fit. It is great for high-ceiling apartments in the city, but not really for a farmhouse in the suburbs. The depth of the item with the desk open is 36 inches. The only thing that's missing is one of the handles supposedly for lifting it on either side of the lower part of the desk - see the detail photos. I got it that way and never found the need to replace the handle, although I suspect you could.
