Seller's Notes:This solid futon has been wonderful when we have hosted overnight guests, who assure us that it is just as comfortable for sleeping on as it is for sitting. The futon opens into a double-sized bed. The 7" mattress is firm and in good condition, perhaps because it has been shielded partly from the wooden slats of the futon by a foam pad. The slanted armrests (sometimes referred to as "bent arm" design" enhance the futon's comfort and ergonomic design when used for sitting. NOTE: Our house has occasionally been visited by a relative's dog, but our house has been completely cat-free.
