Seller's Notes:A gorgeous 'rock' end table by the world-renowned Israeli acrylic sculptor Shlomi Haziza. It's a truly stunning and timeless piece that takes postmodernism and new materials to a new level. In this work Haziza questions our conception of 'real' vs 'fake' or 'natural' vs 'artificial' by presenting a glittering table base comprised of lucite crystals , stone prior to human intervention, out of a completely man made material. Reminding us that even real gemstones don't really start off as gemstones, and in fact, are just as much a product of human intervention as is the most manmade of materials, plastic. Like most haziza items, this item is crafted to order and a minimum of 3 month wait. Perfect condition. Still has original haziza label.
