Seller's Notes:The Afton natural platform bed is made in Virginia by Savvy Rest's own skilled woodworkers. No lacquers or varnishes are used. We chose ours to be finished in linseed oil which is zero-VOC. Made to last for generations, the Afton features closely-spaced poplar slats and solid steel, mortised-in corner brackets. Each corner has three tenons for optimal strength and durability. Simple assembly; no tools required. Extremely solid and simply elegant, the Afton is a perfect fit for any natural bedroom. We've loved this bed and it's very easy to assemble/disassemble. We are sad to sell it.
