Seller's Notes:This is a Calacatta marble oval Tulip Table on an aluminum pedestal, a reproduction of the Saarinen table by Rove Concepts. We purchased the table in August 2018. There is slight discoloration/etching in some parts that is not very noticeable, as well as some hairline cracks, which are noticeable. We would like to be transparent about the table's flaws and imperfections. The marble tabletop has hairline cracks, which we have tried to photograph here. The cracks are visible and palpable, but the marble tabletop is still in one piece, sturdy, and functional. There is an oval reinforcement almost as large as the marble that holds the marble top to the base. Rove Concepts suggested that the cracks can be repaired with epoxy, but we have not attempted to do so as we decided to redecorate the dining space entirely. The table looks good and has a few good years of functionality left. The price is negotiable.
