Rosewood Dining Set from Hong Kong 1958
Product details
Seller's Notes:My parents have moved into a smaller apartment recently. This Rosewood dining set with 2 leaves and 8 matching chairs with original cushions will not fit, and we have no place for it in our family. This dining set was brought back from Hong Kong in 1958 by my grandmother and grandfather. At the time, my grandfather was an Economics professor at Cal, and he had been asked by the newly federated Indonesian government to help them design and implement a ‘national economy.’ My grandparents picked this up with a number of other treasures on their travels, which included Hong Kong and China (Shanghai + Peking). The pictures show the dining set with one leaf and 6 chairs and without leaves in 4 seat configuration. It's all in very good condition and super beautiful.
