Seller's Notes:This vintage pair of french-style rose and gold armchairs have been in the same family home for 20 years. In excellent condition with minor stains and a couple of small chips (see photos). The armchairs came as a set with (following sold separately) a settee and marble coffee table and 2 side tables. The armchairs have only seen little to moderate use, having been used by my parents in a barely-used sitting room (apart from the entertainment room). They have always had a covering to them and were very well taken care of. My parents have since retired and we are selling the furniture as we downsize homes. These armchairs (and its accompanying settee) feature beautiful, intricate carving, gilded floral accents, and a slightly distressed wood finish (as seen in the closeup of the armchairs) that make them reminiscent of furniture found in rustic french chateaus.
