Seller's Notes:The padded headboard and sides plus roomy storage drawer make this king bed comfy and practical. It's designed to be a platform bed using a mattress only; a box spring is not recommended. Use the optional pale grey fabric-covered platform boards (included) so the support slats aren't visible around the edges of your mattress and to make it easier to tuck in bedding. The 2-compartment drawer opens from the end of the bed and has plenty of space for clothes, blankets, linens -- whatever you need tuck away but access easily. It opens and shuts smoothly. The bluish charcoal grey twill fabric provides a warm yet neutral color that matches well with just about any room palette.
