Seller's Notes:Ronex Ahimbisbwe, a renowned multimedia Ugandan art designer, who's work seeks to explain and attempts to answer questions about methods and materials and the effects of texture on one’s perception. This authentic original piece, titled "Expectations" was purchased in his store in Kampala, Uganda last year. The piece is created from mixed media on steel, and portrays Ronex's "desire to create works that curiously blend in the fashion of the legendary double-edged sword: sophistication meeting naivety, chaos meeting order, beauty meeting ugliness, and aesthetics meeting free- expression and so on". This art measures 19.5 Inches in diameter, and about 3 inches in width. The piece has great texture and colors, and can be mounted with a weight-bearing hook or hardware, or used with a plate display on a table. Ronex graduated from Makerere University, Kampala (Uganda) in 2001 and has led solo art exhibitions across Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Egypt, Germany, Denmark, France, Netherlands, Norway, Bulgaria, Belgium, England, Slovenia and Australia.
