Roll & Hill Bluff City Pendant Light- Jonah Takagi

Product details

Seller's Notes:The Roll & Hill Bluff City 8" Pendant Light by Jonah Takagi combines a traditional pendant shade with a wire cage, creating an industrial-inspired design with a polished, contemporary character. Designed in 2010, its distinctive mix of finishes gives the fixture a subtle postmodern influence reminiscent of the Memphis movement, while the collection takes its name from Bluff City, Tennessee. Crafted from glass and metal, the compact pendant makes a striking accent over kitchen islands, dining areas, bars, and other modern interiors. Available in several expressive color and metal combinations, the Bluff City Pendant balances playful detailing with versatile modern design.

Bluff City merges a traditional pendant shade and a wire cage into an industrially inspired but refined pendant. A variety of finish combinations gives the light a vaguely postmodern feel that echoes the Memphis movement. However, the Tennessee town, known as Bluff City, was the inspiration for the series.
