Our reproduction of an early American Empire sleigh bed has the elegant lines and refined proportions that are a hallmark of the era. Ornamented with carved rosettes at the corner – a design used since ancient Greece – the bed stands on elegant turned baluster legs, fluted in reference to classic columns. Crafted of solid hardwood, each piece is carefully distressed using a hand-applied multistep process to achieve the look of a weathered antique.
