Seller's Notes:I absolutely love this desk! It has the best storage of any desk I have ever owned. It is gorgeous, rustic, sturdy, substantial, and can fit into may different decors. Unfortunately, my husband and I are moving into an apartment from a large loft, and so this 80" desk can not fit into our new space. It is "antique pine" so it has an aged stain that was applied in manufacturing but is unfinished wood, and therefore has many knots, groves, ripples, and natural wood characteristics. I have taken great care in making sure to clean the wood often with an natural orange cleaner, which also creates a softening finish to the rawness of the wood. (ie. you wont get splinters when you're using your mouse like I did when I first purchased it) Damages: There is one round light magenta stain on the wood. I photographed it close up and are away so you can see it. Next to this is also a very tiny nail head that is visible. This is just an imperfection in the desk and was like this when it arrived. The other imperfection that was present upon purchase, and has changed a bit over time is the first wood plank on the right side of the desk: It is a bit separated from the front of the desk. (see photo of desk top) It does not effect the strength of the desk or anything, merely cosmetic. Lastly, The large file drawers have one "metal bar" missing. It actually came this way, so one drawer can be used for smaller letter files and the other drawer is used for legal files. I am sure you could purchase a file hanger at the store if you would like to utilize both drawers for letter size material. I never did because I stored photo boxes in this deep drawer.
