Seller's Notes:La Salle's 1940s industrial aesthetic combines clean proportions with hand-wrapped sheet metal. Painstakingly constructed, each piece features sheet metal secured by thousands of hand-hammered nails using a centuries-old technique. In a finishing process that takes from 7-10 days per silhouette, the metal is buffed by hand and antiqued through oxidation, displaying highs and lows that reveal the artisan's hand. Its warm patina only grows richer over time. There are oxidation marks throughout (as seen in photos) these are not stains and is part of the table. It’s a great coffee table and only selling because we are moving and this doesn’t fit in our new apartment.
