Seller's Notes:King Size La Salle's 1940s industrial aesthetic combines clean proportions with hand-wrapped sheet metal. Painstakingly constructed, each piece features sheet metal secured by thousands of hand-hammered nails using a centuries-old technique. In a finishing process that takes from 7-10 days per silhouette, the metal is buffed by hand and antiqued through oxidation, displaying highs and lows that reveal the artisan's hand. Its warm patina only grows richer over time. Bed used for 2 years, originally paid $4,895.00. In excellent condition with normal use. Wonderful deep storage drawers. Inside area of one drawer repaired after minor damage from mover, but functions perfectly and not visible.
