Seller's Notes:RH Restoration Hardware Byron Open Nightstand – 32" Light Oak | American White Oak | Reeded Detail | Soft-Close Drawer Open Box | Early 2024 Production | Beautiful Placement-Ready Condition Configured RH Retail Price $1,695 Member $2,425 Regular Select images may be digitally staged for inspiration. ──────────────────────────── DESCRIPTION Sculptural, architectural, and beautifully crafted, the RH Byron Open Nightstand from designers Harrison and Nicholas Condos draws inspiration from the bold proportions and fluid curves of postmodern design while incorporating refined classical detailing. The substantial geometric form is softened by a slender horizontal reveal and extensive vertical reeding, creating an interplay of line, texture, and shadow. Crafted from American white oak, the nightstand appears to float above a recessed plinth base, producing a crisp shadow line that gives the substantial 32-inch form an unexpectedly light architectural presence. Particularly beautiful in the Light Oak finish, Byron undergoes an intensive multistep finishing process in which the oak is wire brushed by hand, emphasizing the depth and character of its natural grain. Solid oak reeding extends across all vertical surfaces, including the back, allowing the nightstand to present beautifully from multiple angles. A generously sized, fully finished soft-close drawer provides concealed storage, while the substantial open compartment below offers space for books, decorative objects, baskets, or other bedside essentials. Manufactured in early 2024, this example is an open-box piece that presents beautifully and is placement ready. ──────────────────────────── DIMENSIONS Overall: 32"W × 20"D × 24"H Drawer Interior: 20½"W × 15¾"D × 5"H Open Space: 21¼"W × 17¾"D × 13¾"H Weight: 112 lbs. ──────────────────────────── STYLE OVERVIEW • Postmodern • Contemporary • Organic Modern • Quiet Luxury • Architectural • Transitional • Modern Classic • Textural Modern • Minimalist • Designer-Curated Interiors Byron's combination of rounded architectural proportions, rhythmic vertical reeding, natural oak grain, and recessed base gives the collection a distinctive sculptural quality. The Light Oak finish pairs beautifully with linen, bouclé, wool, travertine, limestone, marble, plaster, bronze, aged brass, leather, and other warm natural materials. ──────────────────────────── COLOR OVERVIEW Light Oak Light Oak is a sophisticated natural wood finish that highlights the inherent warmth and grain movement of American white oak. The hand-wire-brushed surface creates additional depth and texture, allowing subtle tonal variations to emerge throughout the piece. Depending on the surrounding light, the finish can read through nuanced shades of natural oak, wheat, flax, warm beige, and pale honey. Because the finish is applied to genuine wood and each piece is individually crafted, natural variations in tone and grain are expected and contribute to the character of the collection. ──────────────────────────── MATERIALS & CONSTRUCTION • Handcrafted from solid American white oak reeding, American white oak veneers, and engineered hardwood • Solid oak reeding across all vertical surfaces, including the back • Intensive multistep finishing process • Oak is wire brushed by hand to accentuate its rich natural grain • Solid stainless steel hardware • Fully finished drawer interior • Soft-close drawer • Recessed plinth base creates a subtle floating effect and crisp shadow line • Artisan-crafted and individually hand finished The combination of genuine American white oak, extensive solid-oak reeding, hand finishing, and substantial construction gives Byron the visual and tactile character expected of RH's more architectural casegoods collections. ──────────────────────────── ARTISAN & NATURAL WOOD CHARACTER The Byron collection is artisan crafted and hand finished, and natural variation is an intentional part of its design. American white oak responds naturally to changes in grain structure, humidity, age, and environment. Variations in grain, coloration, texture, knots, checking, hairline splitting, small cracks, and other organic characteristics of natural wood may occur and are consistent with the material and handcrafted nature of the collection. These characteristics can vary from piece to piece and should be expected and celebrated as part of the craftsmanship rather than viewed as manufacturing defects. No two Byron pieces will be exactly alike. ──────────────────────────── CONDITION Open Box | Early 2024 Production | Beautiful Placement-Ready Condition Manufactured in early 2024, this RH Byron Open Nightstand is an open-box piece that presents in beautiful overall condition. The Light Oak finish, distinctive reeded surfaces, drawer, and overall structure present beautifully. As with any open-box furnishing, minor traces of prior handling, transportation, or storage may be present upon close inspection, though these are minimal overall and do not detract from the piece's presentation. The only specific item noted is minor rubbing to portions of the metal hardware, visible primarily upon closer inspection. Because the solid stainless steel hardware has a reflective surface, its appearance can also naturally vary depending on surrounding light and viewing angle. As an artisan-crafted piece made with genuine American white oak, natural variations in grain, coloration, texture, checking, splitting, and other characteristics of the wood are inherent to the collection and should not be considered condition issues. Overall, this is a beautifully presenting open-box Byron nightstand that is refreshed and placement ready. ────────────────────────────
