Seller's Notes:Queen Size Annecy Metal-Wrapped Bed by Restoration Hardware. Inspired from the French industrial designs of the early 20th century, the art of hand-wrapped sheet metal. Painstakingly constructed, each piece features sheet metal secured by thousands of hand-hammered nails using a centuries-old technique. In a finishing process that takes from 7-10 days per silhouette, the metal is buffed by hand and antiqued through oxidation, displaying highs and lows that reveal the artisan’s hand. It’s warm patina only grows richer over time. Crafted of wood and hand-wrapped in sheet metal. Mortise-and-tenon joinery. The Zinc finish is hand applied to brass sheet and antiqued for a mottled, uneven appearance that lends it its unique character.
