Carrara marble is prized for its timeless appearance and ability to complement both classic and contemporary interiors. This particular slab features beautiful natural vein movement along with a distinctive line running across the tabletop. Based on how the feature presents within the stone and the smoothness of the finished surface, it appears to be a natural fissure within the marble — a characteristic sometimes formed during the stone’s natural geological development. As with all natural stone, variations and organic features are inherent to marble. The marble top and base were manufactured separately, with the tabletop produced in April 2025 and the pedestal base produced in October 2025. The Carrara marble surface presents beautifully with a smooth honed finish and elegant natural veining. The tabletop is clean and visually striking. The antiqued brass base shows a few minor cosmetic imperfections within the finish. These areas have received light touch-ups and are subtle in person, particularly once the table is staged within a dining setting. They do not impact the structure, stability, or performance of the table. There are also minor marks present where the marble top connects to the pedestal base; this connection point is not visible once the table is assembled.
