Seller's Notes:The Giant Lips Sofa/Bench is a popular pop art piece that brings to mind Marylin's pouty lips blowing a kiss. The long admired and famous lipstick-red sofa adds a smile to any decor. Styled after the original Bocca lips sofa came to international attention in the early 70's at an exhibition at the MoMa (Museum of Modern Art) in New York. This Lips Sofa/Bench is a new and updated version of that original design. Unlike the original upholstered version, this one is produced of lightly textured red polymer resin plastic which makes it perfect for both indoor or outdoor lounging. Easy to clean. At almost 7-feet long, it can comfortably provide seating for two to three people.

The Bocca Lip Sofa, a loveseat for two, is made of resin for comfort and use indoors and out.
The sofa was originally designed in 1970, then reintroduced in 2004 by Studio65. Studio65 was founded by Franco Audrito and a team of young designers creating cult objects such as the Bocca Sofa and the Kiss.
