Seller's Notes:While walking in South Slope a couple of years ago, I spotted this piece on the sidewalk outside Time Galleries. I fell for it immediately! We had been looking for a seat for our kitchen area, but the space was an odd size, and most things we looked at wouldn't fit. This was the perfect size. The color pops too. I need to be straight with you about this point though: this is not the most comfortable seat. It's not a couch you can sit on for hours. It has much more in common with seats at a nightclub -- I imagine it came from a 1970s disco nightlife den. It is a great place to work for an hour, or for guests to enjoy a drink while you finish preparing dinner. It's welcoming, but then moves you along to the next phase of your day before too much time has passed. The seat area is about 18" off the ground and 18" deep to the back. I am completely guessing on the age. I don't know it's full history. On the corners on one side, the vinyl has worn through, which I show in one of the photos. The seat is stable on the bench, but does lift up, which might allow for some rehabilitation and makes it easy to clean underneath the bench. If you've got an odd space, and you'd like to add a bright seat, this is the piece you need.
