Seller's Notes: This desk is made from a beam of reclaimed Douglas Fir that was once used to support a hundred year old church in NYC. The 4" thick table top has been carefully double stained, hand distressed, and given three coats of polyurethane for protection. The base itself is a very unique and valuable antique - a Remington typewriter base from the late 1800's.
