Seller's Notes:Final weekend! This goes to an estate sale on Monday! Last call for this numbered offset print of an signed 1979 lithograph by the late Navajo artist RC Gorman. It is numbered and stamped ("XV/XV"). It was purchased from the artist's gallery in Arizona some years ago, and passed on from my brother in law. Gorman created several versions of this canyon (Canyon de Chelles) in various media, both day and night, and it is a night scene, with the small figure of a person approaching across the desert sands. Rich tones of blue and brown call to mind similar decorative items, such as Navajo rugs or pottery. If you collect works from Native American artists, let me know of your interest. This print is matted and framed in wood and glass, and 42" x 30" in size. It has hanger hardware on the back. Available for pickup in Manhattan.
