Seller's Notes:Rare, vintage woven rattan armoire by Ficks Reed, part of the “Country Court” collection in Doeskin, which is a rich shade of chocolate. This beautifully crafted cabinet has two adjustable shelves, a removable decorative top, 4 drawers with ample space that pull all the way out, and has all original hardware. The upper doors open smoothly, and slide into the cabinet allowing for easy access and a lovely display. The very bottom shelf is on sliders providing ample opportunities for various uses. There is an open space at the back of the upper cabinet to run cables should you want to use it to store a TV or computer. It was last used as bar (as pictured) but was previously used to store lingerie, and as a vanity for many years with the shelves removed and a mirror leaning at the back. Unfortunately, we are moving and can not bring it with us. It is in excellent vintage condition, showing little signs of wear. Please note it is from the 1980’s, there will be some minor imperfections but it was meticulously cared for. The upper cabinet and lower section with drawers separate and the upper decorative top also comes off. This piece retailed for $3199 in the 1980s, please see the photo with original pricing.
